TraydGate invites eligible contractors based on the requested trade, property service area, active platform status, and required insurance/licensing on file. We do not exclude contractors based on assumptions about project size. The contractor reviews the posted scope and decides whether to submit a bid, provide an estimate pending site visit, request a site visit, ask for clarification, or decline.

TraydGate invites qualified contractors immediately and surfaces the strongest responses received within the response window. Standard jobs use a 48-hour response window. Flexible jobs let operators select a preferred planning date. Some jobs may require a site visit before final pricing.

No. Invited contractors may submit a formal bid, provide an estimate pending site visit, request a site visit, ask for clarification, or decline. The operator sees the invite list and response status so the process is visible instead of a black-box dispatch.

Photos, quantities, access notes, occupied/vacant status, equipment information, and trade-specific details help contractors price faster. A stronger scope packet can reduce site visits, but TraydGate does not force contractors to provide final pricing when a site visit is needed.

When you select a contractor, you fund the job via ACH bank transfer. The money is held in escrow and only released once you confirm the work is complete. A 2.5% service fee applies.

Don't confirm completion. Use the "Flag a Dispute" option on your job page and describe the issue. Funds remain held in escrow while we work through it with both parties. We'll be in touch within 24 hours to start the resolution process.

Yes — after a completed job, your contractor stays in your network. When you post your next job, you can request them directly. Contractors who do great work build lasting operator relationships on TraydGate — that's by design.

Every contractor on TraydGate is reviewed before they can participate. We verify required licensing and insurance, confirm platform status, and track completed work over time. Invitation eligibility is intentionally narrow and objective: trade, service area, active status, and compliance.

A 2.5% service fee is applied to each job posted through TraydGate. This covers payment processing, contractor matching, milestone tracking, and platform support. There are no sign-up fees, monthly subscriptions, or hidden charges. You see the service fee before you confirm any job.
